Have you check your blog or website page rank lately? Google has just update their page rank and i got myself PR 3/10. After all these years of blogging, this is my first time ever to get PR3 on my blog. Usually the most i get is PR2. Most people probably would not bother about it at all. But for me it shows the level of quality of my blog in Google eyes. Number three out of ten would probably means fail if you are in school or university. But getting number three is not easy and i am lucky to get number three for my blog.
For make money blogger, the higher PR in their blog would usually means higher income. They do paid post, sell links on their blog and so on. Advertiser are willing to pay higher if you have higher Page rank on your blog. But this is a no no for Google. Google would not allow you to sell links or do paid post on your blog. If you get caught, then say goodbye to your page rank and just get ready to be penalize by Google.
I did earn some money from paid post, but now i am concentrating more on traffic generation and more traffic means more income for me. I can not afford to be penalize by Google. I just want to create a blog that has high quality traffic which in turn would means higher income.
Hmm so what next? I got PR 3 on my blog and now maybe i should target PR 4. Although that maybe even harder, but if i do enough backlink on my blog, i probably would get it. And surely it would be a long process. Let me remind you that, higher PR does not means that your blog will receive a lot of traffic.
